Went to the movies last night, watched THE BEEKEEPER 😮.
First few minutes of the movie are fairly pleasant, with a guy and his bees on some land owned by a nice old lady. All quite idyllic.
But from there it rapidly moves into 1 1/2 hours of pretty gratuitous violence, a classic action movie but even more so. I found the movie unfulfilling, because even though the bad guys were dealt with, a lot of good guys were killed also. I was expecting a nice ending with all the problems sorted and the guy back in a nice environment living quietly with his bees. But, didn't happen.
Towards the end of the movie during a particularly vicious beating the lady I was with told me she couldn't watch it any more and walked out 😮.
