  2. Hi I've received a call from a lady saying that she has a hive that's established itself in a wall cavity. From what I can gather the position where the hive is located is going to be renovated so access shouldn't be a problem Sorry, I don't have any more information Attached is a photo. The location is in Greenhithe, North Auckland. PM me for details. Thanks [GALLERY=media, 1116]Hive in a wall by Dave G posted Mar 19, 2017 at 18:55[/GALLERY] [GALLERY=media, 1115]Hive in a wall 2 by Dave G posted Mar 19, 2017 at 18:55[/GALLERY]
  3. From my facebook page Looks like bees have made themselves a home under a house. Presuming it was a wee swarm, the colony has now grown to be noticed. Anybody keen helping Rachel in Ashburton remove the free-bees? Contact Trevor Gillbanks for Details. Thanks
  4. From my facebook page. A swarm is settling on a property in Pokeno. Bees are all over the roof of the property and they are attempting to settle in or on a glasshouse. It looks to be a relatively 'big' swarm for this time of year. May need a long ladder to reach this swarm if it settles under the eaves of the house. Please collect with care as there are children around. Please contact me Trevor Gillbanks for private contact details. Please be aware this is probably an absconded colony and will need to be immediately treated for varroa and then watched for AFB. Trev
