Currently I am using it to wax frames. Next season I will be selling it. I plan on checking the value of what I have done this season at the conference.

Do you bring it up to a certain temperature to kill any afb spores or just melt down and use.

[USER=2876]@Queen Bee[/USER] This is not a system of killing AFB. Fire is the only way to kill AFB in wax. However, as this wax is from my own hives I am satisfied that there is no AFB present. The chances of spreading AFB with wax is extremely low otherwise we would not purchase any premade foundation sheets. I only bring the wax to 70/80 deg c. The yellow book on wax dipping for AFB treatment is 160 deg C for 10 min. The bees wax would be extremely burnt (in cooking) at that temperature.
