Really enjoyed that Trev. I use the same tool. I have a 3 frame manual extractor, wears me out spinning it as it wobbles a bit, but with only 4 hives and once a year, she'll do me. Love your shed.

Fantastic video @Trevor Gillbanks getting more professional each time. Love the "tangential" extractor ;)

Another great video and thanks for sharing your knowledge Trevor. The effort going into the production of the videos is noticeable, pleased you now have a sponsor. Enjoy your the background sounds of your back yard as its so kiwi, a little different from the sub-topics where I am. Cheers

thanks Trevor, very helpful. Your extraction process looks very clean and efficient. When I extract I have honey everywhere, my feet are stuck to the floor with honey, honey down my clothes and through my hair, even the dog had honey on him last time. Not to mention the hordes of grumpy bees outside.......!!!!

@Rubee Anyone can get into a mess. It takes a bit of care and skill to remain clean in the honey shed. I would certainly not let the dog in. lol

@Rubee Crikey, what do you get up to? My dog would probably appreciate it if I made few spills.

Great video and set up. Thanks for all the tips for extracting honey (uncapping and paint strainers!), who would have thought to use a capping scratcher (not I!). Classic number 8 wire mentality.

Yes, it amazing how we invent all sorts of things to do jobs that someone has already invented, and we don't know how to use it.
