Thanks for posting Trev. I've been told that monitoring the temp of the hot plate is important and that the temp needs to be held at around 180 C. You seem to have figured out how long it takes to burn off all the acid for each size hive instead? How do you find the mite kill?

Very good kill rate. But of course it does not kill mites in capped cells. Hence, 3 x treatments no more than 7 days apart.
