Hi Trev. What sort of gloves are you using ,I,lm using the big leather longs but they can be abit clumsy they look much easier

They are Nitrile Double Tough. I buy then from either NZ Safety or Protector Safety. They come in a box of 50 for around $30.00

Do they get sweaty sweaty when the sun comes out and it gets abit warmer or are they ok

U can get thick or thin. Not too sweaty I'd recommend them think the thick ones are 50 gloves for 20 bux but u can get thin 100 for 20 bux

[USER=3511]@dion[/USER] Yes they get very sweaty. However, I don't like the leather gloves and I don't like getting propolis all over my hands which then gets on my steering wheel.

This video is cool and so interesting watching you work the bees. I noticed the gloves and the above comments are interesting. I find with my leather ones that the ends of the fingers get caught under the frames when you put them back and they always feel like they are sliding off. Also, washing them - how the hang do you do this without wrecking the leather? Do you get stung through these plastic ones - I'm still a bit of a wimp with stings but becoming more 'qualified' with this.
