Rob Stockley 3,417 Posted August 6, 2017 How does this system work? Do you spray Amitraz onto the strips then let it dry? Quote Link to comment
Nenad Maksic 208 Posted August 6, 2017 Yes, 3-4 drops on every strip (slow burning paper) and let it dry 30 minutes. 5 treatments, every fourth day in the and of summer and oxalic asid im winter. Quote Link to comment
Rob Stockley 3,417 Posted August 6, 2017 @Nenad Maksic thanks. That sounds like a lot of return visits to each hive. Here, the only method we have for Amitraz is in synthetic strip form. Cost NZ$10 per FD brood box although the treatment stays in for 10-12 weeks. Quote Link to comment
Nenad Maksic 208 Posted August 6, 2017 We have that kind of strips too. More returns, yes, and could be health demaging but results are much better. Quote Link to comment
