Beekeeping books in your home library

Recommended Posts

I have a small collection of books relating to bees.

I picked up a 1947 edition of ABC and XYZ of Bee Culture a couple of months ago.

Earlier in the year I was given a copy of Beekeeping For Fun A Handbook for Amateurs written for NZ Beekeepers in 1981. It is actually a very good book and very informative.

I've got that Chapman-Taylor and Davies one - great little book!

Haven't got a copy of ABC yet, but it's on the list more for curiosity value more than anything... which means it's going to stay on the list a long time while other books come first.

I treated myself to 'The Honeybee Democracy' by Tom Seeley when I was at conference - love it. Always really enjoyed Tom's work and articles/research, but this is the first of his books I've actually got my hands on. Wisdom of the Hive will be next I think.

Just went a bit nuts on book depository, bought wisdom of the hive, honeybee democracy, the buzz about bees and 'bees' by R.steiner. That should keep me busy for a while, all this talk about courses, I'm missing doing a bit of study lol
