Hey I think you might be right.

I used google image search of the flowers and it's best guess was a tree too.

None of the images it said may resemble it did.

Beats me what it is

Thanks for your effort... Might have to be patient and wait for the leaves to come out... Seriously though the tree is humming it has so many bees!!

I thought it might be a maple

But I did not think the flowers had nectar

Bees might be after pollen

Is it witch hazel

Witch hazel is a shrub with yellow flowers

 

If you google maple flowers I think you will find it .

Be good to know what one it is , anything that bees like at this time of year is worth having

When you google it some cultivars can reach 20 feet tho flowers are similar but not the same

Ash Tree I think. Fraxinus spp. We have one here, the bees are going nuts in it.

Supposedly great for building up strength in bee colonies in Spring. Good for both pollen and nectar! A handy tree to have around :)

Hm I have one of those, and it has flowered for the first time. I better build a fence around it to save it from the animals.
