For the new beeks, and the old dogs looking for new tricks. The oxalic acid sublimation/vaporiser use is reviewed and studied in the latest (march) Bee Culture.

Bottom line, it works. And 2.25g/brood box seems to be the magic number. But they were treating bloodless (over winter) hives for maximum single treatment effect.

I stopped getting Bee Culture a few years ago.

I thought the regular contributors were being very wordy. I had a feeling that they had to produce XYZ words in a piece to fill a page.

It seemed to be heading towards a "waiting room magazine"

I wouldn't mind that waiting room. I think a lot of magazines get "tired" after 12 months. I feel the same about BoatingNZ etc. But for a newbee, going through free back issues is gold.
