What is this shrub? - Tristaniopsis laurina

A neighbour has a privacy screen of these shrubs, interspersed with Pittosporum, they are about 12ft, and covered in flower, the bees are going mad over them!

From the looks of the flower structure they are in the Leptospermum/Kunzea family, but I'm 'fairly' sure they are not native. Thinking Australian perhaps?

Funny you should say that Dee, when I lived in Brisbane, I simply couldn't stomach any of the honey, it all tasted overly sweet, and kind of musty at the same time. How would you describe Eucalypt honeys taste? I'm so happy to be home, back in the land of good old Manuka bush honey :)
