Viburnum for bees?

Hi Glynn, Thanks for the info.

King Seeds have a great selections of annuals for bees , but we are doing planting of the big tree shelters -Poplars covering 200 m of fence line with filing up the gaps with smaller shrubs which eventually can grow up to 3-4 m high.

I read somewhere that true Viburnum are bee friendly, but that hybrids might have less pollen and nectar?...

I hope they are attracted to it, I have quite a few viburnums just planted along the front of the section inbetween the larger trees (they will be large in a few years!). They flower well and smell good so i think it is likely the bees like them. I have seen bees working on the neighbours viburnums which I think are the same type as I have planted, so i would say they are a good option.

Viburnum tinus 'Emerald Beauty' is the ones I have planted
