sounds like the ozzies screwed up.

especially if their sample came from down south where manuka and kanuka flower at similar times.

afaik comvita have tested directly from the plant itself.

apparently there is some king of anti aging compound in kanuka.

AGP is the compound in Kanuka. Pretty sure it contains MGO, via DHA as well. Trying to locate the paper.

 

On a side note: The attached paper is relatively clear, and appears to be reliably peer reviewed.

 

I would like to see some counter science, else they are about to take most of the High Value market from NZ.

 

Analytically true levels of 1000+ mg/kg of MGO in a Australian Leptospermum honey will decimate the UMF tests foundation.
