tommy dave 939 Posted August 10 From some Facebook page: "Anyone know who has the bees on Piako road (near Valentine rd) C0657. Looks like some lowlife has tried to help themselves, straps cut & lids on the grass of these 2 hives"
cBank 786 Posted August 10 I wish there was a way to get hold of people for this sort of situation. Even if it had to stay private (does it?) what if you could type in a rego number, and have it email or text the owner (without you seeing the contact details). Who is served by the current system?
ChrisM 789 Posted August 11 we did once have a situation like that. I sent Sheryl a note about it and if memory serves me correctly she sent a note of thanks and did pass this along to the beekeeper concerned. In this regards the people in the AFBPMP are very good in what is actually not an AFB issue and I think that it is faster, direct and easier to give them this information than for the original person to put it on facebook where the chances of getting the right person are less sure. The current system has its problems but most systems do. 3
