Super bright spotlight

Recommended Posts

I have used a Magilamp for years. A cheaper version these days is a craft light with a magnifying glass. Round bulb on the outside of a magnifying glass. If you're interested I'll set up and take a photo. Was too stubborn to use one for about 5 years but it made a massive difference once I'd pulled head in! Now I need glasses as well. Ageing is not great sometimes! ?

@frazzledfozzle- I think this is what @S and S was talking about. Its  from an embroidery supply shop, comes with the option to be floor standing or desk top. The shaft has extensions, and is flexible, can be bent into whatever place you need it. In the underside of the white surrounds of the magnifying lens are LED daylight bulbs. I cant find a brand name on the lamp anywhere, but remember I treated myself to it while on special and it was still $100+. Little to no heat from them, so I guess would be quite practical.

It's a good one.

Here is a bit different but also very good one:

batteries are rechargeable, massive one piece enclosure, heaps of light

Or go with a headlight, maybe that's the best for the job

Apologies for the delay in uploading these photos, I missed your reply. As you hopefully can see the light is quite large. We have a very basic set up with a stand that we made and the grubby thing you can see through the light is what we lean the frames on. That is adjustable and the light is infinitely manoeuvrable. You can buy a stand. If you have any questions I will try to answer? - a bit quicker this time.
