Tree identification request

Recommended Posts

I've got a tree flowering with white blossom. Not sure what it is yet, but I do know it has yellow/orange coloured fruits about the size of a cherry. They taste ok, but I'm not sure if I should be eating them. Will try and get an identity picture when the leaves are out a little more. Any ideas in the mean time?

As I never realy worried about what tree is what or flower for that matter, what/how is the esiest way of identifying trees/flowers in my area(without making a you guys do all the work and tell me;))

Once I know what it is, how do you know if it is a nectar source or not?

Thanks for that Trevor :) bit gutted about finding it but really glad at the same time as there is heaps of it about 1k from our home hives, that now bring me to a new question, is there any way to encourage bees to finish capping frames that are half capped and full of nectar befor they work on the next box? Perhaps by putting the full box on top and the new one underneath?

Cheers
