Why not wait til honey is off hives ?

MPI cant say yes and wont say yes. That doesn't mean it will be harmful to the Honey or that you will go to Jail.

But there could still be a residue at the border....

And even when MPI says yes, it can still mean no. (That’s how I lost about $300 worth of fly tying feathers on returning from UK)

Maybe, but its highly likely that OA will be the lessor of many evils if someone wants to start checking that seriously.

Consider that there is OA in Honey anyway

Yeah, im on the fence with this one iv been told its ok but mpi wont give me the green light, i cant aford to have honey rejected, i geuss i can only wait till the honey is off. If i go on the dew il only take up hives with low mite counts, i could give them a blast before supering up i geuss
