Introducing the Crowley Cup. I posted images in the alcohol wash thread, no idea if anyone had found them but I reckon well worth sharing as new topic.

Was going to send Dennis a message-  how do you do private messages?

Bought those containers and did a mite wash in the back yard.  Worked a treat.  Takes more liquid and requires a bit more wrist action to move the bees about.  Nice and sturdy.

Not sure, but could leak a bit of meths.  Hard to tell as I did the was in spotty rain and mucked about- in a hurry as thunder rolled.  The lid clicks on strongly.

You can't see in the photos, but there are slits in the plastic base of insert.

I washed using my traditional cup, got 3 mites.  Then sampled the same shake of bees (got cups of the same frame) and got 4 in the Crowley. Was able to really mix the bees in the Crowley.

It's going with me next week-

Thanks Dennis- excellent spotting.

Currently both containers are on special in Jafaland at the red shed for half price, so both for total $6 50.

Correct.

I think they market it as "the feta cheese holder", or mozzarella cheese...
