Charl 4
I have been using apilife var as an autumn treatment for the past 4 years with good results. I have started using Hive Dr Semi-vented bases this season. Does anyone have any experience with this product around it's effectiveness with a vented bottom board? cheers
Fuds 0
Hi there, how did you get on with Apilife Var and Hive Dr bases? I'm going to give Apilife Var a try when it gets a bit warmer and I have the Hive Dr Smart base. Cheers

Dennis Crowley 1,351
try them but monitor your varroa levels really well, they really stink and the queen will move all over the hive to lay away from them, so if you can keep her contained under a queen excluder in a single box I found she laid better. but I havent used it for years.
