Check sentinel hive is OK: Receive alters if the monitored colony becomes Queenless. Map daily flight profiles: see exactly when bees are active Monitor hive humidity: receive alerts to ventilate hive in the winter. Automatic tracking of the ‘load’s’ location: Wherever the load goes, its location is automatically updated on the Map section of the user interface. On site SMS and Email: Any smartphone or tablet can be connected to the satellite system allowing the sending or receiving of SMS messages or emails from anywhere in the world, regardless of Cellular coverage. This allows workers to report problems at any time from anywhere as well as sending back inspection information in real time. I like gadgets and I'm quite keen on investigating this further, especially the temperature and humidity roles. A bit of reading to do by the looks of things.
