Facts about chemicals commonly used to treat honey bees

What's New in Version 1.0

This table summarises facts about the chemicals commonly used to treat honey bees for Varroa and Nosema. Note that Coumaphos is not used on bees in New Zealand. It briefly describes how they work, what residues they leave, and where it is applicable, provides the NZ registration details. It will be updated to include other substances as I gather more information. Instructions for the use of registered chemicals can be found using the search facility on the ACVM Web site, 'Registers and Lists' using the link provided.
